"It kept the kids entertained for a few hours so my husband and I could enjoy margaritas at the pool :)"
The vacation
they'll actually remember.
Buska turns a trip to Aruba into a real-world treasure hunt. Kids spot and snap island treasures — a flamingo, a pastechi, the divi-divi tree, the Shoco owl — at their own pace, earning points and picking up the wildlife, the culture, and a little Papiamento (Aruba's own language) as they go. No checklist, no pressure — just screen time you'll actually feel good about.
Heads up, not heads down.
Every other app keeps a kid staring at the screen. Buska points them at the real Aruba — spot it, snap it, learn it — and hands you a keepsake at the end, not a guilt trip.
Explore, learn, and keep it forever.
Three simple steps — the whole island becomes the game board.
Explore & snap
Pick a treasure to find, then photograph the real thing out in the wild — a fofoti tree, an iguana, a fresh coconut. Each capture fills the collection.
Learn as you go
Every treasure teaches something real — the Papiamento word, a Shoco fact, why the divi-divi always leans the same way, and how to leave nature just as you found it.
Keep it forever
The trip becomes a personalized storybook — their photos, their finds, their words — ready to download or print as a hardcover keepsake.
One app that does the work of five.
A memory-maker, a teacher, a nature guide, and a manners coach — all disguised as a game.
Memory of the trip
Not another camera roll they'll never open — a curated story of the days you spent together, with their own eyes on it.
Learning by discovery
Geography, biology, and history land differently when a kid is standing in front of the real thing, not a worksheet.
Local culture & Papiamento
Kids pick up the island's own language and traditions — dushi, bon bini, ayó — and meet Aruba as a place, not a resort.
Sustainability, built in
The rule is look, snap, leave it be. Wildlife is photographed, never touched — teaching a light footprint by habit.
Real engagement
It pulls them off the hotel lounger and out to the lighthouse, the rock formations, the fish market — with a reason to go.
Sibling-friendly & competitive
Up to six explorers per family, each with their own collection — and a friendly leaderboard when the kids want to race.
Every hunt becomes a book grandma will cry over.
When the trip ends, Buska turns their finds into a personalized picture book — a hand-drawn story starring your explorer, where their photos are the only color.
- My Aruba album — keep up to 25 of your own family photos in the app (private to you, never shared), then pick the best for the book — up to 10 photos pop in full color.
- Download the digital book instantly, or
- Order a printed hardcover — shipped to your door, or to the grandparents.

Real pages from a Buska keepsake — hand-drawn story art, and the only color is their photos.
Not just for the little ones.
Same island, different challenge. Buska grows with your family — and yes, the grown-ups get their own edition.
Li'l Explorers
Big friendly finds, read-aloud facts, and gentle wins. Perfect for first-time hunters.
Explorers
The full 75-treasure hunt, Papiamento words, rarities to chase, and the storybook payoff.
Teen Squad
Photo challenges, streaks, and friend leaderboards — cool enough that they'll actually play.
Aruba Ariba
A hunt for the adults: Balashi, the best pastechi, a sunset at the lighthouse, Bugaloe at golden hour.
Parents (and a few surprised dads).
"I think my husband liked it more than the kids. Reminded him of Pokémon. He wants to get the high score."
"Great little app!"
"We ended up buying a Jeep tour just so my kids could find more stuff LOL. It was fun. My daughter loves her iguana picture."
"My only complaint is that my son commandeered my phone and I had to fight to get it back. He learned a couple of local words, which was cool."
Safe by design — not as an afterthought.
Buska is a children's product first. We collect as little as possible, share nothing by default, and keep the grown-ups in control.
Photos stay private
Captures live on your device and in your family's private space — never a public feed.
Sharing is gated
Nothing leaves your family without a grown-up's explicit OK. Location data is stripped from every photo.
No ads, ever
No ad networks, no tracking pixels, no data brokers. You pay once; that's the whole deal.
A Parent Zone
Adding explorers and managing settings sits behind a grown-up gate. You hold the keys.

Everything a parent asks first.
What ages is Buska for?
The sweet spot is 8–12, with a gentler Li'l Explorers mode for 4–7 and a Teen Squad mode for 13–17. A grown-up "Aruba Ariba" edition is on the way — so the whole family can play.
Do we need internet on the island?
No. Buska is built to work offline — once it's loaded, kids can hunt and capture all day with no signal and no roaming charges. Everything syncs when you're back on Wi-Fi.
Is my child's data and photos safe?
Yes. Photos stay private to your family, sharing requires a grown-up's OK, location data is stripped from every image, and there are no ads or trackers. We collect as little as possible.
Can adults or teens play too?
Absolutely — Teen Squad mode is built to feel cool rather than childish, and the grown-up Aruba Ariba edition turns the island's bars, beaches, and food into a hunt of its own.
Which islands do you cover?
Aruba is live today, with more Caribbean islands on the roadmap — so a family (or a cruise) can collect across every port they visit.
How long does the hardcover take to arrive?
Your book is printed on demand in 3–5 business days, then ships with tracking — typically 7–14 days door-to-door in the US and Europe. You’ll get an email with a tracking link the moment it ships.
What if my book arrives damaged?
We reprint it free, no questions — send us a note (with a photo of the damage) from the contact page and a new copy goes to print.
What do I actually get for the price?
A one-time Vacation Pass unlocks all 75 treasures for your whole family, the private My Aruba album, and the digital storybook. Printed hardcover keepsakes are an optional add-on.
